Sea Witch 1/96 scale Lindberg plastic kit

by Mark Moulds
(Michigan)

This was a very fun kit. I had no problems assembling until the last bit of running rigging of the yard braces. I made my own sails out of a old cotton/polyester short sleeve shirt and the vacuum form sails as a mold. I cut pieces of cloth that were approximately 1/4" bigger than the vacuum formed sail. I soaked them in very hot water shook excess water off and brushed them to lay completely to the form, then brushed with water glue solution and let dry completely.
